Welcome to Sebastopol
Located just 1 hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge, Sebastopol is centrally located in the middle of the beautiful Sonoma County wine country and surrounded by the Russian River AVA and Green Valley AVA. Sebastopol itself is a small town divided by highway 116. On the east side of highway 116 are the lower lands (flood plains), larger farms, and some vineyards. On the west side is most of the original town and small lot infill housing. Downtown Sebastopol is vibrant and there are lots of fun shops for browsing and eating. At the center of town where hwy 12 and 116 intersect is a Whole Foods, public square for the Farmers Market and Main Stage West, a local theater company.
Newly developed and much needed to Sebastopol’s downtown is The Barlow. The Barlow brings to Sebastopol the sophistication of the Healdsburg square along with local food, art and wine.
Lastly, Sebastopol is about 25 minutes from every where in Sonoma County, including the Sonoma County Airport with daily flights to L.A., the Healdsburg Square, Santa Rosa and Bodega Bay.
